Full Article

For the fifth annual Tails on the Town fundraiser for the Valley View-based Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter, the animal-welfare cause has adopted a celebrity scavenger-hunt format, combined with a team-effort bar crawl.

Crawl “Captains” include radio celebrities from the Cleveland airwaves franchises such as Rover’s Morning Glory and the Alan Cox Show, guaranteeing some levity and schick in addition to the raffles, prize drawings and food.

Participation (single tickets start at $35; group and team rates are also available) secures a drink ticket, a commemorative T-shirt and free food. And just to remind everyone that this decadent indulgence and zoo-radio fun benefits animals (specifically, a Dick Goddard medical relief fund), the gathering place to start is the Velvet Dog nite club.
