Santa Photo Day donations are needed!

As the year is winding to a close, we at the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter are preparing for our annual  Santa Photos at the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter and are looking to the dog-lover community for help by donating items for the Raffle Baskets that will be made up for this event.

ALL of the proceeds from the Photos and the Raffle Baskets raised go into the Dick Goddard Best Friends' Medical Relief Fund, which helps treat the medically needy strays that come into our Shelter throughout the year.

If you can help to fill the Raffle Baskets with items such as gift cards or certificates (for both humans and our canine friends alike), dog toys/supplies, baby/children items, new movie releases, picnic, car or bath items – anything that you would be willing to donate would be helpful.  We are currently accepting donations at the Shelter, which is open Monday through Saturday.

We are going to begin making baskets on November 6th, so we would appreciate your donations as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, please email Kara at
